Praise Okorie was the other man back deep last game. I have seen Sam back there as well. We haven’t run a kick back in a while. Or punt for that matter. Smoke should get us one before too long. I still want to see him more involved.

Wonder if J'Mar is pondering redshirting this year.
Saw the same thing but it wasn't Dancy.
You asked what sportdawg might be thinking and I answered you. But we do need Tucker back for sure.
Everytime I say something totally absurd on here, someone takes me seriously. Houston has a senior QB who started the first four games this, was healthy, but the team is only 1-3. He ended his season to redshirt using the new redshirt rule. See now you can play four games in a season and redshirt if you have one available. Overall a good rule IMO but some will always find loopholes which lead unintended consequences.
Now it seems that it might have been new head coach Dana Holgorsen's idea. Weird situation. I am sure plenty of folks are upset about this one.
If you have a good enough backup to where there isn’t much drop off I wouldn’t see an issue with it. But if it significantly hurts the team, It seems inconsiderate.
I think the Houston coach knows this season is gone and he convinced their quarterback, King, that his NFL draft position was toast this year. So, he got King to agree to a redshirt so King could improve his draft position. Of course, this would make for the chance of a better team year next year. If Houston has a great year in 2020, all will be forgotten.
I'm thinking that the rule will be changed by next year.
