Time is your friend. Impulse is your enemy. -John Bogle
If we are within 20 at the end of the first half I will be surprised. Texas is expected to make a statement this season, and it will start with us.
Tale of two halves. Either UT will come out blazing, jump out to a 28-0 lead in the 1st qtr, get it up to, say, 42-0, or maybe 42-3, by the half, and then mostly call off the dogs in the 2nd half and cruise to a 56-10 final. Or! UT will come out slowly, sluggish, Holtz's guys make some noise, and UT limps into halftime nursing a 17-13 lead. Then, get a thorough butt chewing and come out in the 2nd half all guns blazing, UT rolls 48-13.
Skip plays for no injuries in these games.
I doubt we are ever close.
Line is moving our way
They beat us by 21+ if we can run the football. If we can’t, it will get really ugly.
Geez....we're not a high school. It shouldn't get ugly at all if both teams stick with using 11 players at a time on each side of the ball.
Vegas knows how poor of an offense we have. Even if we have a solid defense against teams that can move the ball even moderately we will be in trouble. UT really isn’t the 10th best team, preseason polls and all, but they would have had to forget to get on the bus not to cover.
Wow, official attendance was only 22,400
For the Mississippi State win over the Cajuns I mean
I doubt we had more than 22K in Ruston for the last Miss St game.
Why did they play that game in New Orleans? Part of the package deal?
