NSU will be selling beer at football games, and then also at basketball and baseball games. Will help in the revenue area, but will no doubt create a few problems with drunkards acting foolish.
What say you? Should Tech introduce beer sales?

Start with the west side.
I would support it if our admin made it one small part of a gigantic push to get fans back in the stadiums. If it is just a way to get more money out of the same 10,000 at football, 1,000 at basketball, and 500 at baseball that we always have in attendance, then no. What other ideas do we have to get people to engage/re-engage?
This is much ado about nothing. It's a non-issue.
Seriously make the money. Hell my mother even snuck in a drink from Wil Mart in her purse during parents weekend in the 80's. If Tech can make more money do it.
The concession stands and the concourse needs an overhaul before we talk about beer sales.
Yes. Tech should sell beer.
Yes. Tech needs the revenue, and we will now be one of the few backwards holdout universities in Louisiana that does not sell beer. LSU, Tulane, ULL, NLULM, and now even NSU have or will be selling beer in their football stadiums. I guess that's what we should expect with a Southland Conference AD.
If the beer prices are as high as they are at other venues, you want have to worry about many drunks
Do we trust our folks to be able to sell beer? Will they remember to even chill keg? We have been known to run out of water and ice.
How are we going to make money with thousands of Baptists refusing to buy beer in front of each other?
