J'Mars receivers need to catch the ball. There were a few drops against Rice that should have been caught. At least that was my observation from watching on TV.

Tonight was the worst performance by our receivers that I've seen in many, many years. We had so many dropped passes, I didn't even bother to count them. We also had receivers slipping --like they were on ice-- multiple times tonight, and literally falling down. Also, our receivers are NOT COMING BACK TOWARDS THE QB when he's running for his life back there. Some are just continuing to run down field, despite being "out of range". Our receivers should know better by now.

Our receivers need to start contributing more. Right now, most are doing nothing more than occupying space.

I don't know. All I do know is, I didn't see any Rice players "slip" down tonight like so many of our guys were doing. J'Mar slipped a couple of times too.

He does make a very good point about everybody else needing to do their job too. Last night against Rice, some of our receivers played like 3rd graders. Horrible night by our receivers. God help us if our receivers ever learn to COME BACK TOWARDS our QB when he's in trouble and under duress. Last night, some of our receivers acted like its their job to hold hands with the opponents DB's.

Our WRs frequently have to come back to the LoS because they finish running their route and JMar still has the ball.
