He still pisses me off from time to time with his play not to lose style of coaching, but this year he seems to have altered that philosophy somewhat. He’s also cheap, and he’s shown an ability to stabilize a program for the most part, and he has connections all over the country which has landed some big names in Ruston that would have never come otherwise (Diaz, Driskel). He won’t be the first name, but you can bet a team like Arkansas that may very well go two years without a SEC or P5 win has him on the list.
If we win out this year, he will be as hot as he’s ever going to be, so if he’s not hired away he will retire here. “IF” we win out.
