Skip is definitely a different dude. However, for the most part he is the epitome of consistency.

ECU- 38-27 .585%
SFU- 16-21 .432%
LTU- 53-34 .609%

He still pisses me off from time to time with his play not to lose style of coaching, but this year he seems to have altered that philosophy somewhat. He’s also cheap, and he’s shown an ability to stabilize a program for the most part, and he has connections all over the country which has landed some big names in Ruston that would have never come otherwise (Diaz, Driskel). He won’t be the first name, but you can bet a team like Arkansas that may very well go two years without a SEC or P5 win has him on the list.
If we win out this year, he will be as hot as he’s ever going to be, so if he’s not hired away he will retire here. “IF” we win out.

Don't forget UCONN 34-23 .596 right in that same general ballpark.

I definitely want to beat them, but would love for USM to beat them before that. I would like a clear path to the championship and host it - plus, I love to see UAB lose.

Speaking of Home Field Advantage (HFA) apparently it's a "disadvantage" in this year's World Series. If the Nats win tonite, the home side will be 0-7. I don't remember this ever happening before, or anything even close to it.

Nope! never happened before. First time in history the road teams were 6-0.

Good point and would probably help us, if we beat them. Your hope is the better angle. However, I just LOVE to see them lose to anyone and we don't need to take any chances.
