Prediction … enforcement of this provision will be complaint-driven and absurdly inconsistent. As a reminder for game day/tailgating activities, banners and signage recognizing or promoting individuals, issues, organizations, or businesses may not be displayed or placed on any portion of the university's campus without the prior approval from Louisiana Tech University and in accordance with La. R.S. 18:1470. However, branded tents and awnings are permitted.
Content to which university officials do not object will be winked at. But other alleged violations will corrected swiftly and unequivocally
Still trying to destroy tailgating and student attendance one year at a time. We can't blame our AD for this anymore. His boss is making the call now.
@Champ967 - This is an election year. Pretty sure this is aimed at campaign signage.
It appears they want us to buy tickets but not come to the games.
The link to the article is busted, here's the correct one.
Hell, they stiff us for ltac donation then keep doing this crap. Anyone remember New Coke? Whoever keeps pissing off fans in droves needs to, (wait nothing will happen to them) Be fired.
All vehicles without a Red Lot parking pass, motor home parking pass, or handicap parking credentials will be prohibited from entering Bulldog Drive off West Alabama Avenue after 8 a.m. on game days. Anyone tailgating on the north side of the Thomas Assembly Center should make arrangements to arrive and set up prior to 8 a.m. There will be no exceptions to this rule.
This is unnecessary.
So you really should show up the night before. And either have a motor home or enough spare cash on your trip to add a hotel to your budget. Really pandering to the average out of town Joe that wants to grill and drink before the game
You can get north of Thomas from I 10. I have left the game that way many times. It's a round about ways and I don't know if I could go the reverse without seeing it on a map, though. Leaving, you have to be careful not to miss a turn or you end up in Grambling (which isn't much out of the way).
First time in 10 years I haven't gotten season tickets. Tech continues to Tech things up and I have found other things to do.
I will hopefully make homecoming. Still giving to LTAC.......not even sure why
Our first home game is historic! LOL!
ULM outdid us on this great scheduling feat. They'll also beat us on attendance and tailgating.
