I have a specific but simple question:
How much money or additional revenue will Louisiana Tech earn by moving the Grambling game from 6:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.?

Probably just about getting it on TV more than anything
Maybe lots and lots of ice sales.
Forecast says 103F. Y'all have fun in the sun!
It will be tough enough at 6 00 with those temps but 2:30 to 6 - I think I will miss my first home opener in 20+ years.
We nearly melted in Austin at a 7:00PM game!!!! Who set up the kick off times for our home games this year, THE DEVIL????????? 2:30, 2:30, 3:00, and 2:30. WTF??
I was at the Baylor game at 6. I thought we would die of a heat stroke! I am not looking forward to any afternoon games! I can't be there this week, and my husband and son are questionable due to the extreme heat. I have given my tickets away, but can't imagine they will actually come and sit in that heat.
Does the NCAA have any weather related restrictions for games in excessive heat? Turf is gonna be dangerously hot!
This is an unsafe situation multiplied by the tens of thousands that could be in attendance. Whoever is responsible for setting this up or agreeing to it on Tech’s behalf as the host team has acted enormously irresponsible. If this is what payoff greed for a TV time looks like then shame on Tech for putting their fans and players at risk.
I have sat through miserable heat to watch good Tech teams, I have sat through miserable to watch average to bad Tech teams, but this offense isn’t worth the heat stroke. Especially for the poor opponents we have at home. I understand conference is out of your hands, but the rest of the home games just aren’t enticing.
