I don't care we won. Everything is terrible.
I don't care we won. Everything is terrible.
I expected Grambling to get 14-17.
I also expected the offense to get 14-20 more points.
Very bad job by the Offense. The first half was passable. The second half was terrible.
I sure miss a President who WANTED TO WIN. F Jay Taylor. Football, Men's BB, Women's BB. This malaise is on Guice, and secondarily on the AD. They are both scared of Skip so Skip will get to ride this for as long as he wants.
A legacy of taking football programs down to losing seasons....
Our players deserve better than this...
Holtz is undoubtedly the biggest underachieving coach in the country. He’s a loser lucky enough to win about half his games. He can take a 10 win talented team and get 6-7 wins.
Holtz said y'all thought the last 2 years were bad, hold my beer...
I would love to have a coach like the coach at army. Motivates men, plays to the strength of his players, and knows how to adjust to what his opponents doing.
The Grambling QB is 2x better than our “rockstar”
Dude is a ball player.
All you Negative Nancy types! Ask Bayou Dawg (I think that's the idiot's name). Everything is great! Holtz is better than Saban, better than Dabo even. Smith is a Rock Star! We beat Grambling! They put over 200 players into the NFL (under Coach Robinson). They are awesome! Why, did you know GSU almost beat ULM last week? Well, not really "almost" but heck! who's actually keeping track anyway?
Everything is perfect!
Now, sing along with the morons:
Kumbaya
Peter, Paul and Mary
Kumbaya my Lord, kumbaya
Kumbaya my Lord, kumbaya
Kumbaya my Lord, kumbaya
Oh Lord, kumbaya
I know I haven’t posted in a long time, and after this shitshow, I’m thinking it will be an even longer time before I care enough to post again.
It’s so sad what is happening to this program. Apathy is absolutely spot-on. Bear in mind this is coming from a guy who graduated from Tech, played at Tech, had two brothers play at Tech, used to almost never miss a home game, would always tailgate early and stay late, made 1-2 road games a year, bought season tickets, and paid into LTAC at a decently high level....
Now I barely care enough to stop painting my porch on a Saturday afternoon and check the ESPN app for the score. I used to scoff at people who gave up caring, but now I sort of understand. Imagine my (non)surprise when I check the score and see Grambling just about to beat us, and find that part of me is pulling for exactly that to happen, solely because it might spur some changes in the right direction. If the current guys can’t get it done, we need to find people who can.
The frustrating thing is, I know there are some quality people in our organization. I am not close enough to the program to hazard a guess as to where all the problem(s) lie, but it is beyond obvious there are problems both on and off the field.
That is how far we have fallen. I love my school, and this makes me very sad.
If I’m being honest, I was hoping for Grambling to win on that last drive. They deserved it. And like Nathan, I am wondering what finally might wake up our administration to a much needed change.
But as others have said, it probably wouldn’t have changed anything.
You are not alone ND. I too questioned myself today. Do I want us to lose this in order for some changes be made? It’s a tough spot to be in.
Not just that, Grambling was FUN to watch. Our guys looked like they didn't want to be there.
I found myself pulling for the G-men. They actually wanted to win. Sad thing is, it isn’t just football, it’s the same for almost every sport at Tech. When you have a 5th year Sr at QB in his 3rd year of starting , and you can’t score more than 20 points on a SWAC team at home, you’ve got major issues.
