Shocked the Ravens kept him around this long. Hope he lands somewhere else but odds are that his NFL career is done.
Running backs are a dispensable commodity in the pro ranks.

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh announced during his 3:30 p.m. press conference that the Ravens will release fourth-year running back Kenneth Dixon after he recovers from a ‘fractured knee.’
This sucks because he is definitely an NFL back when healthy. Here’s to a recovery and another shot next season. If he can get back to himself those jump cuts are lethal.
He never looked 100% after his Freshman year. I hope he gets another shot somewhere else.
Looks like he made about $1.75 million not including the injury settlement. Wonder how much that was???
After his agent gets their cut, probably not a lot. I honestly think he gets another shot at least at a practice squad , IF he can get healthy. When he was in the lineup, his numbers were really good.
When we were discussing KD's draft potential I pointed out his tendency to get hurt and that might be a concern for NFL teams. No one chose to address my comment on any intellectual level, instead I got blasted for being negative, blah, blah, blah... There is no doubt KD is a talented, awesome RB, when healthy. But that was the concern...at least mine.
The fact the Ravens held on to him as long as they did proves they see the potential in him too. I think, if injuries were not a factor, KD had a legit shot at a Hall of Fame NFL career. That's how much I think of his abilities. Alas..."he is injury-prone" which is EXACTLY what I posted and got blasted for on this board.
I'd like to see a Moats / Dixon cage match -- a fearsome battle to see which legendary Tech RB can pull, tear, or sprain something first!
IMO, it was amazing that Moats was ever able to play at the college level after what he went through in high school. He was a solid person who over achieved. He and Boston Scott are both just good people.
Dixon had it rough, made some bad decisions, and got some really bad guidance. He had more than enough talent.
