The OL got dominated. Bridgewater will be the starter. Taysom is the back-up for about 4 positions. He's too valuable to make the starter if Drew is out for a long time. I think it's more likely that they'll bring somebody else in if Teddy can't get it done. Really rough 4 game stretch to start the season.

Bridgewater was indecisive and held the ball too long. He contributed to the poor OL play and holding calls. The line can only block for so long. Aaron Donald is just Aaron Donald. The guy had 20 sacks last year as an interior lineman. Maybe the best player in the NFL.

Yeah, I was super disappointed with the OL yesterday. They are partly to blame for the Brees injury. I just don't see us taking on a fourth QB if Teddy B don't work out. We already paid a fortune for him.

The Taysom Hill stuff is getting a little out of hand. To think that teams need a guy like him is a little silly. He’s a special teamer with a decent arm and Sean Payton is his coach. That only works very situationally. Jeff is a 6’4 233 with mobility. He isn’t going to run kicks back or make someone miss on a jet sweep.

I'm not talking about special teams. I'm talking about bringing in a quarterback who can run or pass. I could see Driskel playing that role for someone. It could be the Saints if Tayson Hill ends up starting in a couple weeks. Hill wasn't the first player Payton recruited to play that role. He tried to get Tim Tebow to sign and play the "Taysom Hill" role.

To say that Taysom Hill is just some special teamer is silly at best. He is an amazing raw athlete who was hurt the majority of his college football career. The guy can do everything.

As long as Taysom Hill stays away from Utah State, he should be fine. During college, he suffered 4 different season ending injuries. Three of those season ending injuries happened while playing against Utah State. That's kinda weird.

I've said for a while that J'Mar is being over-coached. He plays better when he plays fast and loose. Sounds like Teddy may need to loosen up a bit too.

He is 3/7 for 64 yards in his career, and has run for 233 yards in two seasons. I’m not sure we are talking about the same guy.

There is a silver lining in this Brees' injury. Up to now the very lousy Teddy "water under the bridge" was slated as heir-apparent to the Saints' starting job. Now that Payton has been forced to deal with that reality he's seen the truth. Now maybe the Saints will actually get serious finding a replacement for Brees.
