Don't rewrite history. You keep talking about what a great game J'Mar had against USM last year, when the WORLD says otherwise. Here's a quote from the attached article on last years Tech vs USM game:
"Louisiana Tech (7-4, 5-2) struggled on offense in the second half and managed just 3 points on a Bailey Hale field goal in the fourth quarter. Hale’s miss of a 29-yarder in the third quarter proved costly for the Bulldogs.
Louisiana Tech quarterback J’Mar Smith completed his first nine passes, but managed to hit just 18 of his final 34. He finished with 243 yards passing, a touchdown and no interceptions."
Three (3) points in the whole 2nd half? That's the same old story, Johnny; J'Mar just can't score. From the same article:
"With (Jack) Abraham providing a steady hand at quarterback, Southern Miss (5-5, 4-3) rallied to topple Louisiana Tech 21-20 Saturday, keeping the team’s bowl hopes alive headed into the regular season finale at UTEP. Abraham’s biggest pass of the game may have come on USM’s final possession of the game when he rolled to his right on third-and-5 and found Biloxi product Tim Jones for a 12-yard completion and a first down."
So, enough about what a great game J'Mar (27/43, 243 yds, 1 TD) had against Southern Miss. Yes, J'Mar had a 62.8% pass completion rate. But Abraham finished the same game 24 of 29 (82.76%) for 195 yds, a passing TD, a rushing TD, AND THE WIN. Can a QB's performance even get any better than THAT? So, just stop the nonsense about J'mar playing better than Abraham.
