Good news is at least this game isn’t eating up my whole night.... this has to be the quickest game all Saturday.

What did the Rice band do at halftime?
This is the 7th year I've been saying the same thing: Holtz outkicks his mental coverage in almost every game. He gets cute and comes in with what I believe he thinks is a great gameplan that will exploit one small facet of the defense. Because he does that, it limits the heck out of our offense and, as is obvious tonight, doesn't work. When he gets desperate, he'll start calling pass plays with tempo and crawl out of the hole he created by his crappy gameplan. Sucks for us, because we have more talent than most of our conference opponents and should blow the doors off most of them. but like tonight, Skip Holtz has been pulling the reigns and putting this game in jeopardy with his coaching.
