I think if I was Gus in Auburn, I'd tell my agent to get me out of there.

He's still running a high school offense at the highest level of college football. He only got the Arkansas job because Arkansas wanted Mustain. Then he road Felix Jones and Darren McFadden to the Auburn gig. He then rode Cam Newton to the HC spot once they fired Gene C (a mystery hire if there ever was one). His whole career is "right place at the right time".

Holtz to old to take a new job, P5 schools want young fresh faces. Doesn't matter how many games he wins this year.
Kansas is Kansas.
Skip is no Leslie.
I think you may be right. Skip Holtz may be LA Tech's "Woody Hays" or "Bill Snyder". As long as he continues to win 8 or 9 games a season, and takes us to bowl games, Holtz will probably have a home here for a long time. Seven wins a year won't do it. But 8 or 9 wins will keep the pitchfork class at bay.
They simply can't help themselves. They are charter members of the 3C Club. Who else would turn an inoccous Coaching Carousel thread into an opportunity to bash Tech football. Fortunately the club roster seems to consist mostly of the same naysayers and they remain small in number. It is a very tight knit mutual admiration society.
What are you talking about?
I don't like correcting a friend --especially one with special needs like you-- but FAU is 4-1 in CUSA, not 3-3) and still very much in the CUSA Championship race. FAU's CUSA wins are arguably better than ours. Their only CUSA loss was a very close 36-31 decision to Marshall, in Boca Raton.
