There's also a video of the player talking after his arrest but it's too disgusting to post.

These situations are unfortunately becoming less and less alarming in today’s culture. Just more evidence that teenagers are some of the most foolish, disillusioned, and nonsensical creatures on planet earth. Regardless of what the University of Tennessee decides to do with him, his legal punishment should involve him having to spend a year riding patrol with Knoxville police or, better yet, his hometown Memphis police.
The guy has a reasonable chance of success in football if he can be a productive RB at Tennessee. If he is kicked off the team then the journey gets much more difficult. Even if he gets in somewhere else to play college ball it will not be a major program. No idea what his hopes and dreams might be beyond football.
Not suprised at all since he's from Memphis. He issued an apology but I highly doubt it's sincere. Maybe some work with law enforcement in an outreach program will help make amends.
Vols’ have decided to dismiss Banks from the team.
So when are they going to dismiss Pruitt? When are we going to start teaching kids to be responsible adults again? Denzel had it right in Remember the Titans...”You’re crippling them for life”. It’ s happening all too often these days. It’s not a white or black issue. We have failed to teach our kids personal responsibility.
To me Pruitts reaction was as bad or worse than the player. He made the player apologize, but to my knowledge he never did. That whole situation up there is a FUBAR of epic proportions.
