That was my favorite part of the day. Everyone in the stadium had to know what they were doing because of the way they lined up, and it was hilarious when he actually ran over the ball. This team was terrible!!

Unless they took a knee, it was difficult not to score on this team- they were simply terrible.

We need to see "bowl mode" this week! We are all tired of losing to USM. After seeing UMASS last night, hopefully he will have had 3 weeks to prepare for them. Maybe he will be ready... I surely hope so.

I agree UMass was not good, but I commend them on their enthusiasm whenever they scored, or made a positive play.

Be careful.....we have some “Abe haters” on this board who are STILL in heavy denial, and think he’s a quitter who’s too short, too slow, has a weak arm, and can’t hit the broad side of a barn. Of course, they are fools, but what else is new.

Honestly, after last night’s game, Elliott should no longer be allowed to even dress out. He’s contributed nothing to this team, and frankly he’s just taking up someone else’s spot on the roster. I’m tired of seeing him get some valuable playing time, and throwing INT’s every time he touches the ball.

If a player has been playing/practicing college football this long and still sucks this bad, he’s needs to find something else to do. He’s a lost cause.

You could play in 4 last year too.

And Jmar Smith has something like 40 career starts, all against a string of the weakest schedules in the last 40 years at least, and all he can manage is a 103rd rating out of about 130 QBs. Some of the QBs on 0-6 teams have higher ratings than him! Yeah...a lost cause.

As for Elliot I don't know if he has any hope, or not. Maybe he just sucks like that Georgia Tech transfer did. Or, maybe if he had had 40 career starts by now he'd actually be ranked in the Top 100 QBs in the nation.

At least we know we have a good back up in Allen. Maybe that's the reason Skip is letting J'Mar run it more. I think he's going to be real good, if Skippy doesn't screw him up. Like chewing him out for throwing a TD pass.

I was thinking about that during this game. Skip is bipolar. He chews out Allen for throwing a TD pass against Southern but hangs 69 points on UMASS. Weird
