Miles is 65 now. I just cant see him coaching into his early to mid 70's, but who knows.
If "Miles from Nowhere" is actually successful at KU he'll be hired away before 2027.
Yep.
Kansas got way down on their list before they hired him. Nobody else wanted him including at least one G5. This is his last gig.
I have never considered Miles to be a good coach. He's one untalented lucky SOB, now a multi-millionaire and hardly a trace of the qualities needed. But, he has a lot of folks fooled, so I am very surprised by your statement. Of course the fact he ended up at a dead-end job at KU lends a ton of credence to your post. Still, I am interested in more details. What is your source(s)? How far down KU's list was he, and what is the G5 that passed on him? (probably just couldn't afford him)
Any guesses on the halftime entertainment?
If Kansas...frickin' KANSAS!!!...buys out a return trip we will have hit rock bottom. KU is among the absolute worst FBS programs in the nation. They have a connection to New Orleans for recruiting, playing in Ruston can only help their lousy program by exposing recruits in NLA and ETEX to KU. Who knows, they might pick up a gem in the rough.
No way they travel to Ruston.
That is almost a guaranteed L for them.
