He would be a good on from 2021 and beyond, if healthy. We could take them both, of course everyone else would then transfer. His recruitment will be huge, will be interested if he will consider G5.

I think he is better than any QB on our roster.

As is Jake Bentley at SCAR who is going to transfer. Franks would be more of a runner than J’Mar has been. Of course that is if he were allowed to run.

I want a QB that can make reads, make quick decisions, make throws, pass drug tests, win CUSA, beat some P5 teams. I don’t think I am asking for too much.

Agreed. He's a Florida kid, Crawfordville, just below Tallahassee. I don't see him leaving the state.

Can someone please explain the "transfer portal"? Are they all free agents and can play immediately, or do they have to sit out, etc.?

Hahaha! Yeah, that's what I thought. I guess "changing levels" means going from FBS to FCS or lower? Every time I get on Twitter I see a lot of tweets of people going into the "transfer portal". Is that kinda like the Star Wars "Beam me up Scotty" portal?

It's just a mechanism for managing the transfer process from an NCAA compliance standpoint. It didn't really change any rules or anything, it just made the paperwork a little easier.
