Thanks for asking. He had a great visit with Coach Holtz last weekend.
NAIAs and D2s all over him.
A couple of PWOs from C-USA teams.
Hope the next 6 weeks are exciting for him as he tries to convince some D1 coaches he's a football player and not just a fullback/HBack, a position that just does not trend well these days of the RPO packages.
Cayden fits the Taysom Hill mold, which the Saints coach is doing a good job of making a position of the future for progressive offensive minds.
He's playing in the LHSCA All-Star Game at 2 pm Saturday at Ruston High. Come watch.

Don’t EVER believe it. The number of legitimate laser timed 4.4 guys in the pros is probably less than 5 percent of the league. The biggest bullshit stat in high school AND college is 4.4. When u see one, u know it. 4.3... is almost a unicorn. There are a few, but you can count them on one hand. Bottom line. there are a bunch of lying high school coaches and players. I would bet there are less than 40 legit 4.4 guys in high school NATIONWIDE, and yet everybody seems to have 3 or 4 of them.

And you know those for sure. When you stand in the box and see the pitchers release and never see the ball, you know.

Played them in high school. Men among boys in multiple cases each season. I don’t understand it either, but I can vouch for it.

It's interesting. Great programs always have some D1 players. Seems like the smaller well coached programs always have a guy or three who can play at the next level. What I've noticed is that we'll go after a guy like him, but totally ignore guys from a 5A program with a team loaded with D1 potential talent. It's like we will only go after those "large program guys" if other teams are going after them as well.

IMO, the positions we fail in the worst way are QB and Punter. Of course using a TE would be out of the question.
