Must've been some decommits (PawDawgs favorite word). We were at 20 hard commits this morning on 247 (I thought we had been at 21). We're at 19 now.

It looks like we lost DaMarcus Mitchell to Purdue and Darius Edmonds to Houston. But we picked up Kershawn Fisher and Damon McFarland.

If we get the three outstanding, that will bring us to 22. That class should compare favorably to our classes of the last few years.

We had 3 commits, but one of them signed with Houston. We signed the other 2.

BTB probably knows. This early signing period is a different strategy. No one HAS to sign and a coach doesn't HAVE to take a signature of a commitment yet. The recruiting process still goes on until February. But nobody can touch these guys who signed with us. It doesn't look like any of the 3 have de-committed from Tech though.

I just received a text.

Jamison Kelly is signing at 9:30 tonight. His dad is out of town for work.

Fred Watson has academic challenges, therefore won't be signing today.

Ralphael Marshall is signing in Feb. No reason was given.
