Gray is a baseball color. . . traveling gray, unless, of course you use a form of the WHITE State-T logo.

Crazy think about the post "LATech" logo birth. . . Precious Dooley continued to use the White State-T logo (and/on red helmets after the consulting firm was paid thousands for the Red-T version along with the LATech logo. This logo swap out was not made until the Dykes years (and some overachievers in the marketing department pushed the "well, it's our new logo" BS argument.
Skip softened the blow finding the money to buy a $et of white game helmets (on which the new logo DOES look right), but LSU game 2018, he brought back the White-T. PTL!
(Side story: Dr. Guice and I made a bet in front of two state troopers prior to the Armed Forces Bowl Game. If Tech beat Navy, Tech will start using the White-T again. Fake news or not, I DO have witnesses, to our friendly bet between Tech classmates.)

I use to have the rickenbaugh and CLC pdf, it included various color schemes. The white-t was an acceptable color scheme for Red backgrounds.
Original: Red T / Blue State
Red background: White T / Blue State
Blue background: Red T / White State
One color logos:
All Red State-T
All White State-T
All Black State-T
the T-state logo looked better on the helmets without the blue outline on the T.
"IF" memory serves me correctly, I think in 48/49 Tech used a gold helmet with a single bar across the face. Also in the "thirties" my dad brought me a used Tech f/b, shaped more like a rugby ball.
Here’s another helmet site that has some extensive histories of various leagues.

Anyone else noticed the obviously not authentic BLUE helmet on the bar at Longhorns in Monroe?
Damned Puppy is still the worst. The WO-O-ORST.
