Jaylon Ferguson’s defensive play for the Ravens last Sunday drew praise.
Coach John Harbaugh said that Jaylon “played really well.” He “stepped in Sunday“ for injured veteran starter Pernell McPhee.
Writer Aaron Kasinitz said that the third round Ferguson “will shoulder more responsibility as the Ravens (5-2) move deeper into a promising season — and reason to believe he can handle it..”

jaylon and jellybean both played a lot of snaps, and the ravens defense really shut down the texans both running and passing for most of the game. it was fun to watch even though they were beating up on my texans.
and ellis can still move for a big guy.
