He started the year on the practice squad and finished as the leading receiver AND rusher in a must-win game that gets his team into the playoffs.
He is the real deal.

He was never actually named the starter. He filled in for the other guy several times. Every time Holtz was asked about the great job Scott did he would make sure he stated that the other guy was still the starter. Makes him look bad for one of his recruits to get outdone by a walk on.
No comparison statistically...
Scott: 183 carries for 1,047 yards and 8 TDs. 20 receptions for 181 yards and 1 TD.
Craft: 119 carries for 532 yards and 3 TDs. 13 receptions for 74 yards and 2 TDs.
Holtz was probably worried about his size/durability.
Scott is doing better in the NFL than Dixon and Moats did.
Honestly not putting too much pressure on Boston in college has probably helped his health. I wish we used him more, but in hindsight it was probably better for him.
Wish Scott was playing for another team as I hate the damn Eagles.
Very happy for Scott though - he took his opportunity very well last night.
Boston doesn't focus on the naysayers, he's more concerned in proving his supporters right.
