BTW the GAO is "employed" by Congress and always sides with it. The GAO also found obummer "violated the law" several times during his tenure, but nothing ever came of it.

Remember how one of the defenses that Republicans have been raising is that “you haven’t even shown that Trump violated a law”?
That defense was never true to begin with, because the Constitution is the supreme law of the land, and violation of your oath of abusing your power to self-deal would violate the Constitution.
The other defense - that Trump was doing his job to “stamp out corruption”, has also been further destroyed since the House hearings as more evidence has come to light.
For example, why was Giuliani representing Trump personally in the discussions with Zelensky (rather than the US)? Again, we already knew that this was “a domestic political errand” but the new evidence that has been made public, including what Parnas has been saying, has only supported what our distinguished civil servants have been saying.
Your TDS is showing.
To be clear, Obama not sending javelins to Ukraine was not a violation of the law. He didn’t have to. And, more importantly, his decision not to send it was based on his calculation (as wrong as it might have been) that sending weapons would escalate the situation. He wasn’t withholding it to get a personal favor.

It’s not even just this one issue. Every political leader feels invincible because it doesn’t matter how they conduct themselves, no one gets punished. Other than one half thinking you are a no good so and so, there is no backlash. That’s why Trump is doing things the way he is. He is smart enough to see everyone around him getting away with lying, cheating, and anything else. Not saying he is right for his mob boss mentality, but it’s pretty consistent with political figures. This will never change so long as we have 2 parties more concerned with public perception and re-election than the good of the people.
So true!
Pelosi overturns American justice system with new standard for convictions
'It's not a question of proof'
Published January 17, 2020 at 1:03pm
Last fall, Barack Obama CIA Director John Brennan announced a new legal standard for American jurisprudence.
He said Americans are innocent until they are accused of a crime.
Now, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has posed another new standard.
It's not about "proof" anymore.
It's about "allegations."
See her remarks:
"It's not a question of proof, it says what allegations have been made and that has to be subjected to scrutiny as to how we go forward, but it should not be ignored in the context of other events that could substantiate some of that," Pelosi told reporters Thursday.
Brennan, on MSNBC's "Morning Joe" last October, said "people are innocent, you know, until alleged to be involved in some kind of criminal activity."

Zerohedge featured journalist Glenn Greenwald's Twitter post on Brennan's statement.
Greenwald wrote, "With sincere apologies in advance to all U.S. liberals who are offended by criticisms of former CIA chiefs, @JohnBrennan's understanding of the presumption of innocence is completely warped, but in the most unsurprising way imaginable."
Zerohedge explained: "The presumption of innocence, as a foundation of the U.S. judicial system, has seemingly been under attack since November 8th 2016. An allegation is made, media runs with the narrative, the seed of possibility of guilt is implanted in the minds of zombie Americans, and the accused is maligned forever – no court required. Simple. And now, none other than former CIA Director John Brennan clarifies exactly how the deep state sees 'due process'…"
Brennan, now a CNN commentator, also has accused Trump of treason.

I allegedly have $30million coming my way. So, when do I pick up my check?
Republicans are probably shocked this weekend to learn how deeply Nunes was connected to Lev Parnas’s efforts to serve Trump’s personal interests in Ukraine.
Drain the swamp of these people that are more concerned about their party loyalties than the interests of America.
Lev has no first hand knowledge of anything, but he was seen holding a red solo cup while standing by a punchbowl in the hallway upstairs at a party. That's enough for the dems.
Trump’s loner attorney making the exact opposite constitutional argument against Clinton in 1998. Lol
