It wouldn’t surprise me if Trump is acquitted. Nearly any Republican with an ounce of integrity has already been run out of office by Trump. All that remain are enablers and a right wing media that works as a propaganda arm of this administration doing their damnedest (tonight being the pinnacle of that by not airing in full the trial) to help downplay the egregiousness of what Trump did and how it threatens our security and Constitutional government.

2019 showed my 401K grow at 29%. Year before that it was greater than 20%(don't remember exactly). I expect this year up through Nov to be another very good year due to Trump's policies. I have been very happy with these not so normal results.

Your market returns are the result of a sharp sell off at the end of 2018 and fed rate cuts (and other rate cuts from central bankers around the world) and balance sheet expansion through the repo market, which pushed people into risk assets. Fixed income investors (not me) and savers are hurting right now because they can’t get yield from bonds and CDs.
Most think this year should be good, too, unless a major war breaks out or the Fed goes back to hiking rates.
Frisco, your return for 2019 was almost exactly the same as the S&P500. If that is what you are in, your return for 2018 would be about 7% after the end of the year sell-off that started in October.
Laura Ingraham reported last night that she had received e-mails showing there was a meeting with Ukraine officials in the Whitehouse on 1/19/2016. There was a discussion about Hunter Biden being involved with Burisma. A New York Times writer, Ken Vogel, wrote a story about the meeting and the NYT would not print his story. The person that checked these Ukrainian officials into the Whitehouse was Jeffrey Cole, aka the whistle blower. Notice the date, i day before Trump was sworn in. This had to be an emergency meeting about something very important to Obama and his administration. This was also the day we started hearing about Russia collusion.

I've looked for the transcripts, but I don't think you are correct about the timing of the admonishment. Even CNN and Vox suggest that Roberts made his comment after Nadler rebutted Cipollone and Sekulow. Not that it really matters.
That speech by Cipollone was made during the day on Tuesday. Nadler's speech was around midnight just before Roberts issued his warning.
I cannot see the market continuing at this rate of growth. It is unnatural. When Trump took office the Dow was at about 19,000 and now it has exceeded 29,000, that's a 53% increase, in three years. If the market could/would sustain this growth rate we'd all be $gazillionaires in a few years! Well, not me, I'd only be a $trillionaire since I am divesting my equity holdings...slowly.
Yes, there are many factors, independent of who is POTUS, that influence the market. But a good POTUS i.e. one whose policies enhance the economy, can help matters.

Unless you were watching on CNN or MSNBC, you would have no idea about evidence. They are the only two stations that broadcast the impeachment trial. Tons of compelling evidence was presented yesterday. There is no doubt what happened and why it happened.
