Does anyone have the stat or know where to find it of how many times Skip has gone for it on 4th down this year compared to prior years he has at Tech? He just seems much more aggressive this year than others.

Does anyone have the stat or know where to find it of how many times Skip has gone for it on 4th down this year compared to prior years he has at Tech? He just seems much more aggressive this year than others.

Have you noticed he is also a more animated with the officials on the sideline? I think the team feeds off of things like that along with taking some chances and being aggressive.

I think it went up the last few years with a need to go for it on 4th down with games on the line. But I think the feeling that we are doing it more this year is he’s pushing early. Its not because we HAVE to go on 4th where its the obvious play.

I think you are right on that, he goes for it when he does not have to. We go for it just for the fun of it.

I wonder how many of those attempts were Jumbo Package.

I noticed over the last few weeks that Holtz has gone back to the "Straight T" formation in short yardage situations. He did that a lot back in 2014 & 2015. And it worked. I think with Justin Henderson's rise, Holtz felt like he could run out of the straight t again. It's very hard to stop.
