We are really healthy at this point. I think we owe Hester a big well done for getting the boys in good condition. We have looked strong in the second half almost every game.
That's a great point. It seems like every game we play, our opposition has players dropping like flies. It happened with UMASS, USM & again with UNT last Saturday. Meanwhile, we've have very few go down with injuries.

That return for a touchdown that was called back for a facemask would have been a back breaker in years past. The beautiful J’Mar pass that was dropped. Drive ending in years past.The fumble in the red zone...game changing in years past.
I’ve seen a change in Smith. He doesn’t throw his helmet or yell at his receivers as in years past. He says we will get them next time. There is confidence there I haven’t seen before.
This team doesn’t let these mistakes snowball. I’m not sure what they are doing, but for some reason even when there is a problem they keep going. The Defense went back on the field with their backs to the goal and kept them out of the end zone.
That seems to be what Marshall is worried about. Their conditioning may not hold up if we can string together a few long drives. Also, they seem to be worried about being the 3 and out machine we all hated being for the time which we were.
IMO, the health of this team is due to more to having two open dates in in the last 4 weeks rather than the same conditioning we've had for the past 7 years.
It looked like men (Tech) playing boys (UNT) whether they rolling around on the ground or not.
More likely to me the effect of Hester working with many of these athletes for many years. J'Mar has shown exceptional strength in escaping some sacks. Also, I have never seen one of our running backs that could both run over someone and hurdle someone. That is awesome athletic ability that they didn't show coming out of high school or we wouldn't have got them.
