Or do schools have some sort of insurance policies to cover this stuff?
I suspect Arkansas will attempt to settle with Bielema by forcing him to take a smaller lump sum in exchange for not being kept on a tight leash regarding attempts to interview for and take P5 jobs. That's what not paying him right now is really all about.

I think the same thing will happen with Morris. They'll offer him cash up front at some point. Arkansas has the ability to raise a substantial portion of what's needed to make that happen.

Don't forget that Jerry's grandson is on the team.
He'll make things happen if need be to insure his grandson is taken care of.

Money is not an issue in Fayetteville.

....it's got to be tough to raise money when you're as bad as Arkansas is right now. There was nobody in their stadium last Saturday when WKU steamrolled 'em.

    You make a valid point.

But when you have the Waltons, Tyson’s, J.B. Hunt, Stephens, and Jerry Jones, among others, you have a really deep well.

Personally, because of their lack of a competitive recruiting base, I don’t see them being able to compete in the SEC West on a regular basis unless they get a proven, big name.

There's a money printing machine up here, but they also aren't happy with failed business investments. I don't envy them.
