They've busted out the forms on the east end grandstand so the structural concrete work for the stadium itself is pretty much complete. Ought to see the offices/athletic facilities start in earnest this week. Sure seems like they're making good time.
Close, I think we got another set of seating to go that is in front of the coaches office, team building. The grandstand is asymmetrical. I think they are up to the point of the tunnel entrance

You're right. I haven't looked at the layout in a while and forgot the stands extend past the dugout.
We'll see soon how they'll do it. Looks to me like they'll do the building work then come back and finish the stands.
I looped by this evening to take a look first hand. It's an impressive project!

LATECH Baseball & Softball will Compete on FieldTurf in 2021

"After careful consideration, officials decided the NEW FieldTurf DoublePlay and TripleThreat Series would be the ideal choice for J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park (Baseball) and Lady Techster Softball Complex (Softball)."
"FieldTurf’s NEW DoublePlay Series is gaining rapid popularity amongst collegiate baseball programs showcased by installations at the University of Tennessee, Rutgers University and recently the University of Southern Mississippi. FieldTurf has long been a trusted name is baseball with installations at Oregon State, Oregon, Texas, Texas Tech, Washington and over 1000 more."
Interesting that you can see the forms are in place in right field for the outfield berm seating. From Tech Drive where there was the foot path to get up there, a stairway is being excavated. That's going to be a popular place to watch a game when the stadium is finished.
