I think 1,500 is about right for us

Squeeze another 500 or so in the berm seating and you have a legit 2,000+ crowd for big games

Old stadium was 606 individual green chairback seats in the main grandstand. 642 bleacher chairback seats in the main grandstand. 26 individual chairback seats on the two dugouts.

They were rarely filled even for big games, but our resume builder AD ALWAYS announced over 1000 in attendance.

For what, they are just laying on top of the roof starting from the pressbox to the right suites. The roof looks done to me.

Hopefully they will extend the overhang out to cover the fans similar to the way they were covered in the old stadium.

The roof was extended more over the seating in concept renders so that may not be completely done yet.

The roof looks fairly done, the front of it looks capped off with trim. There's no overhang of roofing membrane liner. Maybe, they are trim pieces for the outer column slanted roof?

The roof overhang was reduced quite a bit vs the rendering.

If the season was in the summer, yes it'll be miserable. It's not too bad in the spring. The schedule runs from FEB 23 thru MAY 21.

We start the season at ULL, then we have 14 straight home games from FEB 26 to MAR 17. The sun would be quite welcomed due to the chilly weather. We then get 6 games on the road, and return back with 6 games consisting of night and mid afternoon games.

We then go on the 4 road games against Rice and NSU. The dogs are then back home for 8 consecutive games with a few early afternoon games. Shouldn't be an issue in mid-April. Early May, the dogs are on the road. Mid-May, the dogs finish up with UTSA and Rice at home which 3 of 5 games are at 6pm.

Looking at the schedule, I doubt fans will baking in the sun. We have plenty of night games (excited about the new lights).
