Just watch...after the newness of the stadium wears off and fans get a full dose of the sun, and the other flaws in this stadium you'll start seeing complaints. And then our resident kool-aid drinkers will either attack those fans for being too negative, or! take credit for their expressing concerns.
The blue seats are the worst decision made during this whole process.
The canopy is/was a luxury for almost all the seats before. Not sure how many, if any, of the new seats will be covered. Shade at a baseball game is convenient in late spring and summer, but if you don't go to a baseball game because the sun is shining brightly you probably have a skin condition.
Didn’t realize so many couldn’t handle a little sunshine. That must explain why nobody is at the football games either.
I sat on top Of the 1st base dugout for years - or with the right field rowdies - both full sun. Little sun is good for ya
As a fair-skinned person, I seek out the shade, even in colder weather games.
Used to ride open cab tractors in the sun all day when younger, but this old white skin can’t handle too much exposure any more.
If we copied CSU’s end zone beer garden, I would be the only one left in the stands out of the 5,000 in attendance. I may start drinking just so I don’t have to be alone.
Drove by the baseball field and they were pressure washing the brick retaining wall. The hill in right field next to the new stairs looks like getting prepped for sod. The area that will lead into the stadium was being cleaned up and equipment moved off to get ready for concrete. Ticket office windows are in place. I did not drive by to see the turf but warning track and outfield logo are in place.
