This is all good for LSU, but you get a "saturation point" where an incoming freshman man not start for two years, generally just see less on-field play than if they came to Tech. I'm not saying we will start loading up on 4 and 5 stars, but definitely 3 stars, and maybe some 4s. Call it the Amik Plan; come to Tech, play 2-3 years, and enter the draft. Obviously, this mainly applies to the footprint we are recruiting in now.
Conversely, how will SMU's rise affect us recruiting in the MetroPlex? I say if Sonny stays, it can hurt us. If Sonny goes, it is good for us.
Thoughts?
