J’Mar will start next week. He should start next week. He broke the rules and paid the penalty.
More importantly, the CG is still a possibility if we win next week. It’s a no brainer.

Tucker’s drop on that last drive would’ve gone for six.
JMar probably will start because Holtz is a weak leader but that doesn’t mean the rest of the team will play for him. They’ve been disrespected and they know it. We’ve all seen it the last two weeks.
There is way too much accepting of underachievement and failure around this program. In doing so it’ll only continue. Those failures aren’t over yet. It’s becoming engrained.
I threaten this every year. Depending on how the deer hunting goes all day Friday and then Saturday morning, we’ll see how motivated I am to give up something I love for something that isn’t worth it but is already paid for.
I will drive 300 miles+ to see the last last game. My team, win or lose.
I'll probably be in Ruston next weekend visiting my grandmother-in-law, just like last year.
Just like last year, I'll probably notice no traffic, remember to check the score and see that we lost.
And the Tech grads/LSU fans there with me will shake their heads and remember why they never cared in the first place.
I’m probably not going to read this whole thread, but here’s my thoughts.
1. Play calling was atrocious for most of the game. I like how we went deep, but other than that, mostly screens in passing game.
2. End of first half was handled poorly. I don’t think a timeout was necessary on their 4th down play. After they scored, we had plenty of time to go down the field to score. Instead we go deep on first play and run on next two. Gave them 3 points.
3. Refs missed several defensive holding calls, including the last drive. Also, there were several offsides that should have been called.
The game was essentially lost when Holtz went for it on 4th down and put our QB under center... then inexplicably ran into the strength of their defense. First we don’t normally play out of that formation, so we told them it wouldn’t be a pass. There went 1/2 of our options. Second, running wide out of that formation means it would be a pitchout. Pitching out puts the ball further behind the line of scrimmage and makes it less likely to gain positive yards. It was 100% a stupid, stupid stupid 3X a stupid call.
