I am with you here, but am much, more confident in Tech than UNT.

Same for me..... UNT seniors playing their last game at home will hopefully help them some. They CAN do this, but it is going to be difficult for them... I give them a 30% chance of winning, but will be cheering them on...

The more I look at both teams stats, the more I think UNT has a chance in this one. UAB is just not that good - we just played horrible. UNT has no defense, but they can put up some numbers. Taking one game away from both of them (UAB win over Tech without our key players) and the UNT meltdown against Rice (which plays every game close), I think UNT could pull this off. UNT is better offensively and UAB defensive stats are against weaker opponents. I am all in for UNT this weekend!!!!! GO MEAN GREEN!!!!!!!

It should have never come to this. We went from complete control of being a lock to host the CCG two and a half weeks ago to counting on 4-7 UNT to beat 8-3 UAB for a slim chance to get there. Yeah, UNT is better at home and UAB is worse on the road. It should have never come to this.

You are correct, but no one can turn back the last two weeks. It now depends on us winning and UAB losing. We have to look forward - not backward....

Funny, exactly what I was thinking. I was there by myself since no one else saw any reason to go stand in the rain for three hours. We kind of backed into that championship also.

My understanding is that CUSA changed the rules today. They eliminated the rule that allows the team that has had the longest absence from the championship from being selected. My understanding is now that it will come down to the team with the highest ranking in all the polls which will favor us if we win. May have been posted elsewhere

I would feel MUCH safer if we win and UNT wins..... I don't like leaving it up to anyone to decide...
