    Re: College Football Playoffs (CFP)

Committee just handed LSU the easiest possible path to win the NC. Not that they might not have won anyway. As it is, LSU draws Oklahoma in Atlanta...practically a home game for them, then after OSU-Clemson beat each other up, LSU gets the survivor in New Orleans, definitely a home game for them. Given this situation I obviously have to change my predictions.

The dynamics of OSU vs Clemson is different than what I expected had it been LSU vs Clemson. Now OSU feels disrepected. The gloves are off, baby!

    LSU will toast Oklahoma... 45-24

In the other semi...hmmm...I'm gonna switch to OSU nosing out Clemson, just because... OSU 27 Clemson 26

Then LSU will rock the Dome. They will have a HFA, which is a factor, and so LSU over OSU in a good game. LSU 34 OSU 28

You never know, but Oklahoma has a loss (K-State) and four close wins (including Texas and TCU). Of course, one Of LSU's 2 close wins was also against a bad Texas team. However it plays out it should be fun to watch. But Ohio State and LSU sure have looked to be the best teams for a long time. Funny if it would be Clemson, since nobody is talking about them this year. Dabo was even questioning the lack of respect in the polls earlier in the season.

Well, this prediction almost made it to being 12 hours old before being debunked.

Smart guy. Predict every possible scenario, one of them will be right. Just don't do it with your bookie, that won't work out! I also predict Rummel will win a state championship this year, with a big fourth-quarter comeback. Congrats on that!

    Opening lines.
    LSU -9.5
    Ohio State -1
One book (Westgate) has already swung to Clemson -2.5.

First time Alabama is not in the play-offs.
Dabo tells his team Clemson is first team since 1966 to start the season #1, go undefeated and drop to number 3.

Well, duh, I had to change the semi predictions. The committee left me no choice.

Now some are predicting an LSU over Clemson NC game. Well, based on what we now know that is one of the possibilities. Guess if these folks are proven wrong in their prediction we'll see some smart-azz comments...maybe?

Admittedly, this has been a pretty good football season for my favorite teams. The biggest under-achiever has been Tech, and we're 9-3 and bowl bound again. When that's the worse results for your teams, it's not bad, eh!

I am predicting Ohio State vs. LSU, not sure who I predict as te winner yet. Will predict before any games are played, if I had to bet today I give a slight edge to LSU. The smart-azz comments are a sure thing.

If the Saints get on a roll and play to potential at the right time, that's 2 outta 3 championships. That would be a great season!

    Wow! Vegas knows...

Clemson is my favorite. I hope they are able to shut up the Yankees and SEC fans.

That’s Roger Goodell’s trick with New England.

Well the way the defenses looked in the Superdome today, the Pats or Ravens won't need RG's help this year.
