I think Dixon is the best Tech RB ever. In fact, I believe he'll be making plays in the NFL again next year. His brute power, jump cut, and receiving skills are phenomenal.
Have you considered those Dogs?
Dixon couldn't hold GITMO's jock strap!!
I concur about Kenneth Dixon being Tech's all-time best RB. I've personally seen 'em all since Charles "Quick 6" McDaniel arrived from Cotton Valley in the early 1970's and took the SLC by storm as a FRESHMAN. And shortly after his smoke cleared along comes John Henry White, the steel driving man from Haynesville, a few years later. We were also blessed with some very talented RB's in the 1980's (G Powell, D Douglas), 90's (J Davis, J Cooper, BR Tell) and early 2000's (R Moats, D Porter, P Jackson).
Here's a trivia answer: Daniel Porter is LA Tech's #2 all time rusher behind Kenneth Dixon statistically. Here's the all-time stat leaders:

But nobody set the tone and put fear in our opponents the way Kennth Dixon did. As you stated, he could run, block for his QB, AND CATCH the football, something that most Tech RB's just couldn't do.
HD, "Quick Six" was from Springhill. Roger Carr was from CV although he never played football there.
We have had some really good RBs at Tech.
You didn't mention Roland Harper who went on to have a very good NFL career with the Bears, blocking for Walter Payton, and being that other guy the Bears would pop with a running play or a swing pass.
KD did so many things for Tech he caused major headaches for opposing DCs. His pass catching abilities, including downfield, added a dimension to his game others couldn't match.
