Tech had better not play too conservatively and give Miami a feeling of inflated confidence. If we get behind I doubt we’ll be able to come back. Their coaching staff is far more likely to get after us than we are to get after them. We all know Holtz’s wait for them to lose the game mentality.

Tech radio thought it was a generous spot for Tech. Would have loved to see a good replay. Big 3rd down coming to get off the field.
Looked to me like his knee was down about a yard short.
Our one hope is that Miami is terrible enough to beat themselves. I'm not seeing any reason besides our own incompetence we can't win handily here.

Anything over 35 yards in the air outkicks the coverage. Better to kick it 30 and let it roll another 10 with no return.
