Good game. And a very good crowd, larger than our Frisco Bowl appearance.

According to the Frisco Bowl web site, the LA Tech vs SMU game in 2017 drew 14,419 fans, which was more than the FB games in 2018 and 2019.

Not that it mattered, but they had many more seats available to be sold today than when we played there.

Probably more actual in attendance than many of the home games our AD the resume builder announces.

The opposite EZ, the one with the Soccer Hall of Fame, was under construction in 2017. What's the capacity? Thought it was right at 20K. Tulane's Yulman Stadium is very similar and they claim a 30K capacity. Anyway, in both cases, they are neat venues. Good tight stands, comfortable and cozy atmosphere such that a crowd of 15K up to 18K looks and feels like a lot!

As for our Frisco Bowl out-drawing the two since, my Gawd! I would hope so!! Tech and SMU kind of have some alumni in the area, not to mention that SMU is a hometown school!

Clemson has the better National Championship game tested HC, QB, OL and defense by a large margin. And they will have their 30,000 fans in attendance so it’s not as much a home game as many think. Besides they are the reigning National Champions which hasn’t been getting any respect. That is huge.

Some good points. LSU has more talent IMHO, and I’ll be surprised if they don’t cover the spread.
