I'm predicting the Bulldogs lose this one to UTSA. The Dogs don't usually play well against UTSA, and the Roadrunners are even tougher at home. Combine that with the fact the Runners --already 0-2 in CUSA-- desperately need a conference win, and this one just doesn't look good.
If we lose it'll be by a few points, after we go 7 of 20 from the FT line....
With 5:21 left in the 1st half, UTSA leads Tech 45-21. Ya think we're playing much defense tonight? LOL!
Just home from work and wow cannot believe the score. This is pitiful.
Gotta be the venue.
Our guys afraid their will hit the roof I guess.
THe passivity of our coach never ceases to amaze... waited until we got down by 25 POINTS, before any full-court pressure. UNBELIEVABLE
Tech is getting outhustled badly on the glass.
Offensive Rebounds:
UTSA - 7
LA Tech - 2
Defensive Rebounds:
UTSA - 14
LA Tech - 9
Total Rebounds:
UTSA - 21
LA Tech - 11
Here's a Head Scratcher: LA Tech shot 52.2% FG (12 of 23) from the field in the 1st half, and UTSA shot 55.9% (19 of 34). So UTSA got 11 more shots at the basket than LA Tech in the 1st half.
Also, Tech shot a dismal 22.2% (2 of 9) from the free throw line in the 1st half, while UTSA shot 80% (4 of 5). Bracey finished the 1st half 0-4 from the free throw line.
Halftime Score:
UTSA - 53
LA Tech - 27
WHAT DO YOU KNOW? KONKOL GOT A TECHNICAL. I really believe that is his first ever.
