Halftime score

competitive game so far.
Final
Bulldogs 64
Miners 61
Dogs got behind in second half and clawed their way back. Took the lead in final couple minutes. Tight game that ended the Miners’ 9 game home win streak.
Very exciting second half.
That was a gut check win. Puts Tech in second place at 3-1 with only four road and six home games left before Bonus Play.
Charlotte at 3-0 still has all seven of its road games before Bonus Play left.
Also tied at 3-1 with Tech are FAU, WKU, and North Texas. Those teams all have five road and five home games left.
Tech gets North Texas, Charlotte, and FAU at home and only has to play WKU on the road.
Total team effort. Hope Crawford's injury not a season ending one.
Splitting this road swing was what I was hoping for.

Nice win.
Crawford injury looked bad. Gritty win. Props to Archibald and the freshman Cobe Williams for hitting FT’s down the stretch. Muhammad continues to be a beast down low. Who would have thought a BPCC transfer will outplay a senior athletic specimen in powell and a WVU transfer in gordon. Neither can handle the ball and/or finish. It baffles me.
I think this is a better win than most people realize. UTEP got off to an 8-1 start this season, then went on a brutal road trip that included 6 straight "road" games. They played @ Houston, 3 games in Hawaii for a tourney, and 2 more in Miami FL, where they lost back-to-back games to the F_U's by 2 and 3 points. That's a lot of travel. Finally back home, UTEP beat USM by 12, and then faced us.
Tech has the best road record in the conference at 4-4. Charlotte, leading CUSA at 3-0, has yet to play a conference game on the road--they are 1-4 away from home on the season. Tech was 1 of the only 2 CUSA teams to get a road win yesterday, and we did it against a team that hadn't lost at home this season.
