Can active military from another country purchase a firearm in the states if they are here for military training? I can’t find anything stating that, but may not be looking in the right place.

That is what I read. I had someone tell me that military personnel from overseas are exempt due to their active duty status. Couldn’t see that being accurate.
Have you never purchased a gun?
Was a background check performed everytime you got a gun?
