Regardless, Bret’s point is a good one. Nobody picked J’Mar to be OPY. Few, if any, picked us to beat USM preseason.

The coaches didn't pick Smith pre-season. THAT was understandable. The fact that they DID actually picked him EOY tells me they are as bad as the media at picking. Actually they had nobody better to pick in the end because CUSA is really bad. Smiths stats were average at best.

I don’t think he will be drafted. Love to see it for him and Tech but I do believe he will sign as a FA.

If he is drafted all that means is it was a really top heavy QB draft and then nothing else, and someone just had a pick to burn in the lower rounds. If he ends up in someone camp its like Tyler said... FA signing.
