Throwbacks tonight
The Diddle is a tough place to play. It will be solid red tonight. I attended LA Tech's 69-68 loss to the Toppers in front of 4,900 fans there 2 years ago. Other than the team, I was the only guy in the building wearing blue.

They have their Black Out Night tonight. Hopefully we make them very blue.

Our guys are too soft. No, I’m not giving up, but we keep letting WKU’s country boys push us around like grammar school kids. We need to be grittier under the basket.
Damn - for a second I thought the Lady Techsters out there playing tonight. I saw tougher and stronger Techsters teams in the past than what these guys are showing.

not saying it's the difference in the game, but i think this is the most one-sided officiating i've seen in college basketball.
I haven’t watched much or any mbb the last two years but I can tell Konkol hasn’t changed much since he got to Tech. The guy is a teacher but nowhere close to be a coach. There is no in game adjustment - there is no surprise. His team would win game that they are out-talent the other team. His team would never win game against team with equal or better talent since their coaches will out-coach him by half way thru the first half.
His team is built to win 20 regular season games with SOS of 300. His team isn’t built to win playoff game.
The only positive I can see so far is that we played 10 players so far, and Stansberry has only played 6 . Maybe.....just MAYBE some of the WKU players will tire in the 2nd half. Apparently their bench isn’t deep?
We should be pressing on Defense. Why aren’t we pressing?
