The only positive I can see so far is that we played 10 players so far, and Stansberry has only played 6 . Maybe.....just MAYBE some of the WKU players will tire in the 2nd half. Apparently their bench isn’t deep?

Really... we shouldn’t be surprised. The announcers kept talking about our road conference record. Konkol won one per year for the past two seasons before this year, and now we have 4. None of the 4 are against a winning team with a decent coach. 3 of the 4 are against bottom pod schools as of tonight. Doesn’t bode well for Saturday, which means a win against Marshall would be our signature win over the past 3 years. Marshall is 6-6; 12-13, but they have a coach who found a way to get in the dance a couple of times in the past 3 years.

Definitely a game where we should have pushed the tempo for long stretches and attempted to wear them down. We didn't utilize our depth to our advantage. Also, Mo got abused on both ends. He needs to study tendencies with the smaller players. Poor showing

Coaching...or the lack of it, on full display last night. This is why I have zero confidence we'll be dancing this year, yet again. The only way we win in Frisco is for the unlikely to happen and our players are super redhot and the other teams have off-shooting nights....every night! Then we can bomb our way into the Dance. But, we all know that is not likely to happen so it takes a coach to "coach" his team to a win on a night when the players are slightly off. Konkol is clueless and so we will have that night, in Frisco, when we're not shooting well and our coach will stand there like a deer in headlights...
