This is just bad basketball.

"We had just talked in the time out about using our two remaining fouls we had to give," said Tech head coach Brooke Stoehr. "That was our plan. To black the play. It was set up perfectly for us to take some time off the clock but we didn't execute.

"Our defender knew she had four fouls and didn't foul. In that situation it doesn't matter how many fouls you have. You foul, but we have to do a better job of communicating that to our players. We had the same scenario at North Texas and executed it perfectly. Today, we did not."

This is why I'm having trouble believing that Brooke is a good coach. Maybe on paper, but obviously there is a disconnect between what she knows and what the players have been coached to do.
