Dawgs lead FAU, 43-24, at the half in Ruston. It's a much more fast paced game than what we've been playing recently, including some full court presses by the Dawgs. The 3's are falling.
Derric Jean is having a really good game today. With 15:49 left in the game he's already got 16 points.
With 3:09 left, Dawgs lead 79-61. Ledoux has 24 pts, Jean has 19. Both teams are shooting very well form the free throw line. FAU is 17 of 19 for 89.5%, and Tech is 10 of 12 for 83.3%.

And down the stretch FAU has to be shooting 80% from the field too. Game is over so maybe they are just relaxed and shooting better for that reason.
UTSA is tied with WKU with 9 seconds left. WKU with the ball...

Kinda ironic that Konkol abused White's disciple with a full court press. Hopefully we'll use it increasingly often the last 4 games and into the tournament. I actually think we foul less and have fewer turnovers when we up the tempo. Obviously, we also force more turnovers. Skill has been begging for it all season and I can see why.

FAU is bad, very bad -
We shot well and had several droughts that lasted a couple of minutes but we could of beat them by 30+ if we would of pressed the issue
Outside of Ingram they had nothing

Dear Coach Konkol, for the love of all things wise and wonderful, please employ the full court press and transition offense as our primary attack for the remainder of the season! Our team seems to play better and our opponents tend to play worse when you do this. At least, try it with North Texas and Western Kentucky when we play them in pod play. If it proves ultimately unfruitful, we understand if you decide to abandon the strategy. Let's see if this works.
