They all (the UL presidents) played the political game. His response when asked was," we are Louisiana Tech". Implying they can call themselves whatever they wish. It would have been nice for just ONE of the UL presidents to call out the legislators who had written the laws prohibiting the name change. Instead, they just all looked the other way.
