Good baseball other than one error. Great pitching for both teams.

Definitely agree, Troy’s starter was fantastic. He was commanding both sides of the plate with a plus fastball (with movement, looked like 2 seam) and nice offspeed stuff (changeup and curveball). Thought we might be able to get something going once he came out after the sixth, but at that point I think we were so discouraged offensively, it didn’t matter.

Fincher looked solid again. Just some weird plays (Brantley’s error, then Fincher missing the bag at first; Bates’ misplay) led to the first two runs. He certainly has plus stuff and should be a solid Friday guy.

Hopefully the bats can get going today.

Most encouraging thing for me is that HCLB was not happy. If he can get that communicated to the team, things will be fine. If not....
