The lack of a coherent, consistent national strategy is the absolute damnable truth of the matter. Especially in light of Woodward conversations.

The strategic national stockpile is not for red nor blue. Also damnable. Trump let Kusher and some ‘volunteers’ run a shit show there. No GSA, and more importantly, no DLA. Wasted? Air bridge?? There’s no telling what that cost, for very little return.

If President Trump were as upfront to the nation as he was to Woodard on 7 February, we’d be having a very different year.

Seriously? You think these people who are rioting, burning, and looting right now would have reacted responsibly? His "keep calm" speech was directed at fools who were buying the toilet paper, water, and maxing out their WIC cards.

Tell me what you think would have been different.

I won't go into the Republic thing and how the states have the right to make their own decisions regarding their safety.

So you’re supporting Creepy Joe and Heels Up? Just like to have everyone on the record, that adds important context to their post.

Did I miss the keep calm speech?

How many instances of looting, rioting, and burning occurred in Louisiana? And how much did that contribute to Louisiana being 1st in the US in per capita deaths from Covid?

He lied about having intelligence briefings. Why not tell people the truth? Even poor Boris Johnson’s reasoned, rational tone just today...is that too much to expect?

Not supporting, per se. I’m not voting for Trump again, though.

Yes, you must have missed the many "keep calm" speeches.

You keep referencing Louisiana like we are some kind of great example of peace here since we don't have a Seattle situation going on. Louisiana is near the top in obesity, hypertension, and overall sick people. Those are the ones who died because they refused to stay home and or distance. Also, the elderly who were past life expectancy account for many of the Louisiana deaths due to dying WITH China Virus instead of FROM China Virus.

No he didn't lie about intelligence briefings. Try to keep your accusations straight. He supposedly lied to the American people about how the China Virus was nothing to worry about AFTER having been informed otherwise in intelligence briefings. Which is also untrue.

Remember when Bush downplayed 9/11 or FDR downplayed the attack on Pearl Harbor to keep folks from panicking?

Part of the job of being president is to level with the American people about the threat and get the American people to buy into the plan. Trump is utterly incapable of being this kind of leader.

    BULLSHIT!

Trump is the most capable leader we have had since Reagan and one of the best all-time.

So ridiculous to compare the China Virus to 9/11 or WWII.

Pretty sure I could go back in the archives and find quotes from you bashing Bush for mishandling the 9/11 stuff. You were omniscient then too. Actually, you could blame Reagan for 9/11 because he didn't pay the hostage ransom, pissed off the Muslims, and caused the hate that caused 9/11.

I think not paying was all on Carter. I think Iran was afraid Reagan would be willing to make a deposit once he got in the White House.

You are right. COVID-19 has killed many more Americans than 9/11 and WWII combined.

    Not even close.

Only a sorry POS would compare deaths of innocent civilians, emergency responders, and young men fighting for their country to deaths of the sick and elderly by "natural causes".
