If is still just as much an emergency, but the FDA still needs to make the determination that the vaccine once manufactured and distributed as planned will be safe. The consequences of an incomplete assessment could be even worse than the virus.
20 million HC workers, and 3 million elderly nursing home residents, followed by 87 million "essential" workers...dayum! We semi-retired, non-nursing home, non-essential folks are just shit out of luck. I have a slightly different idea...start with the these categories but add, "are you a Trump supporter?" to the screening process. No anti-Trumper should ever be allowed anywhere near the vaccine. Yeah, but pandemics fall in that 2% because it is one of those cases where a state or locality can’t control its own destiny. Diseases don’t recognize state borders.
