Was news around the end of the year that the Raiders pulled rank on UNLV and stopped the game being at the new stadium. Las Vegas press had articles about the locals getting "taken" as UNLV getting to use it was part of the sales pitch for the public to support the tax proposal.

Of the first three UNLV home games, it looks like only the Cal game on August 29 will be in the new stadium. Tech and Arizona State games on September 5 and 12 both look to be at Sam Boyd.

Instead of the first and then second game in the new digs, Tech will be able to say it played in the first UNLV game at Sam Boyd after the "last" UNLV game at Sam Boyd.
